On the second day of the London 2012 Olympics, Google comes out with a doodle specific to a sport. Today, it’s archery. The doodle shows a female archer aiming her arrow at a bullseye. The Google logo is painted on the wall, with the target placed on the second “o”.
Friday was the first day enthusiasts witnessed the archery events at the London Olympics. The archery events are held at Lord’s Cricket Ground. The four main medal events comprise of men’s individual, women’s individual, men’s team and women’s team. A total of 128 competitors (64 men, 64 women) are taking part in these archery events.
We expect to continue seeing flying arrows well until August 3, 2012.
