Today, more than ever, bosses everywhere should keep an extra eye out for their staff, as the reason they may be buried in their computers, is not that they’re busy working, but because they’re having a go at the London 2012 Hurdles Google Doodle.
Google gives internet denizens a chance to see how they fare in the 100-meter hurdles. No special training is needed. All it takes is fast finger skills on the keyboard. Today’s Google Doodle features an interactive game where you try to go over the hurdles and cross the finish line in the shortest time possible.
Challenge yourself and try to beat the world record of 12.21 seconds by Donkova Yordanka from Bulgaria on 20 August, 1988. For men, you’d want to beat the record of 12.87 seconds set by Robles Dayron of Czech Republic for the 110-meter hurdles.
After you finish the game, the doodle will show the total time it took for you to reach the finish line. If your score is below 12.21 seconds, you get three stars which is equivalent to a Gold medal.
