Sweat and I go together. Like birds of a feather, we stick together. It’s not bodily waste I’m particularly drawn to, let’s be clear on that. It’s just that I enjoy working out and staying fit.
Friends say that I’m a bag of boundless energy. If it was all about stamina, I’m pretty sure I have what it takes to make it to the London 2012 Olympics. It’s good that I’m able to put all this pint-sized energy to good use by engaging in different types of physical activity.
Just recently, I got started on boxing. Thanks to my husband’s prodding, my knuckles have found their way inside a pair of cool boxing gloves. In this case, the gloves are on!
Tomorrow, I’m taking part in a dance marathon. That should be exciting, as I’ve never been to one before. If it’s sweat I’m after, I’m definitely going to sweat buckets while dancing.
What people don’t know is that I also want to be an equestrian. Deep in the recesses of my heart, I’ve always enjoyed watching the Dressage events at the Olympics. I find a certain air of elegance attached to the sport. I wouldn’t mind at all if one of my friends took me to an equestrian clearance sale and got me a nice Caldene jacket to wear to my first equestrian event.
My fascination for various sports and workouts doesn’t end there. Until I’m old and gray, I will keep staying fit.
