It was a spur of the moment. I can’t think of any activity for my 22 month old perky daughter. It was 3:30 in the afternoon and I got bored of the usual stroll in the park or walk to the mall activity. It was hot and it’s a Saturday.
Daddy can join us since he doesn’t have much work to do. I figured this is a ‘cool’ way of beating the heat and passing by a humid Saturday afternoon.
Filling up the pool with water / Pouring water on Daddy.
I’m cold now. shiver shiver…
This is supposedly Yz’s 2nd birthday gift. But Granny gave it too soon. Better used it now before it gets damaged.
We didn’t have enough space so we placed this inflatable pool out in the garage. This is no private event from the start. Neighbors and Yz’s friends came to watch her play in the pool, hahah!
Look at me, Daddy… err.. Daddy are you bored?
Costs for this afternoon activity:
Swimming Pool with free crayons (yeah, you can draw on the sides of this inflatable pool) = Php 2000.00
Water = about P120.00
Rubber mats (optional) which I placed under the pool as protection for the kid and the pool as well = Php 500.00
Electricity (for the electric pump) = about Php 10.00
Balls (100pieces) = Php 400.00 more or less
Inflatable Ball = Php 120.00
= PHP 3,000 more or less
What’s good about it is that I can reuse these stuff over and over again (aside from the water and electricity of course). All you need to do is to take care of these things so they can last for a long time.
So on the next swimming activity, all I will have to spend on are for the water and electricity.
The preparation and the clean-up is another story… tiring.. but happy! Daddy promised we’ll do this again. ^^
