Steppin’ Out

Saturday Apr 25, 2009

After a month, I bought another pair of slippers for Yz. Not because her feet are getting bigger, but I thought she needs some pretty pair of slippers that will match her dresses and other girly apparels. And being the cheap Mommy that I am, I chose the “buy one, get one” from the Tiangge. (Buy one for Baby, Get one for Mommy too)

slippers

Surprisingly, the slippers I chose for Yz is not like the usual slippers for kids that are so rigid which leave your soles with calluses. This type is the soft kind of rubber. It’s non-skid and your feet won’t feel sore from wearing them.

The pair I got for me is non-skid as well. It’s rubber and although it’s cheap, it’s not painful in between the toes. And always, always I make sure that the slippers I buy gets dry easily since my feet are always getting wet, – from washing Yz’s bubu and potty chair. (I love to play in the water) hehe!

And this is what happened to the first imitation havaianas I bought last month. I definitely got what I paid for. Yz’s slippers didn’t get this bad.

stepp-in

No one was able to guess how much this cost, so guessing is still open. If you are able to guess the prices of both slippers (the new ones and this old pair), then you’ll receive 1000 EC credits, or a million hugs and promotion of your blog.. Whichever you like. ^^

hi fedhz! lovin the flip flop talk here! i’ve seen imitation havaianas for as low as P50 sa mga tiangge, meron pang P30 sa mga palengke sa province…pwede bang 2 yung guess ko?

i hope Yz’s havs are not the printed kind, yung may lead content? i felt sorry for all those havs na may lead daw that were cut into “halves” haha! but health and safety first!

LOL, ironic haha.
