Yz is gonna be 2 on May 8. She’s a very hyper baby and is inquisitive and observant just like other kids her age. One of her favorite food to snack on is Oatmeal.
Hunny always buys oats for his Protein Shake. It’s located under our dresser where other food are placed. Before when Yz wanted some Oats, she’d go to me or her Daddy to ask for some.. “Daddy, may.. have.. some.. oats… Daddy?” (with matching sad puppy eyes) who couldn’t resist that?
But this time maybe she didn’t want to disturb us, so she helped herself.
She always watched me when I open this and other cans and she knows where we keep that scissor. I know someday she’ll mimic what I’m doing so I kept away the pointed scissors and left this yellow one.
Just the sound of a door opening makes Yz jump from her sit and next thing you know she’s standing by the door. She loves going out. The phrase “go out” is like music to her ears.
Although she’s not yet done eating, she can’t contain herself and rushed to the door just as she heard the maid opening the door. But I locked it up before her. So this is what she did. Caught her sneakin’…
“Mommy, it’s broken!” That’s just her excuse. She wanted to open the toy to get the little hamburgers inside. (Mcdo Happy Meal toy). She got the idea when I opened her battery operated toys with a screwdriver. So now, when she sees a toy with a little screw in it, or that she wants something inside from that toy, she gets the screwdriver from the drawer.
These are some examples why you can’t leave your babies (or toddlers) unattended. ^^ Safety Patrol might be on their way in our house. I had the drawers locked. One of these days, I will buy locks and maybe alarm for the door.

You are so right. Once I was talking on the phone, and before I could stop here, my daughter cut the phone cord. No damage done, except to the cord, but toddlers can get into trouble very quickly.
