Spunky’s Bed

This is Spunky. Granny’s favorite baby when Yz was not yet around. Yet she is still a baby to us. Spunky, being a Miniature Schnauzer, is very “spirited” and noisy dog. She barks at strangers (especially men) and barks when her owner (Granny) arrives. When she was younger, she can’t sleep without a companion. I have to sit down beside her on her bed (which is this couch) until she falls asleep. What a baby!

Now, Spunky is 5 years (in our year) and she can sleep by herself. She still wants to sleep on the couch. But her owner doesn’t want to let her sleep there anymore because it is newly upholstered. Poor doggie. She’s been used to sleeping there for many years and she’s being deprived of sleeping in what my daughter refers to as “Spunky’s bed”.

I hope Granny realizes that her “baby” needs a bed of its own. I have seen a donut shaped bed from our local store and she can choose the best dog beds for her favorite dog. Spunky is complete with almost everything – her own toothpaste and toothbrush, hairbrush, shampoo, hair dryer, clothes, towels, and vaccines – what’s only missing is a nice comfy dog bed.
