Sharing Bathroom

yz_on_bathtubIf you have been reading my previous posts, you’ll understand why my aspiration of having our own house keeps on buzzing in my head. Aside from being able to decide on our own without continuous nagging or receiving unsolicited advices, I want to manage my own household and set rules that hunny and I will agree upon.

Yzabella is growing up so fast and she’s getting bored with the usual stuff we do everyday. One of her favorite thing to do (just like other kids I know) especially in a tropical country like ours, is to stay in the water. When we went to one of her grandmother’s house (condo) she went into the swimming pool, and we didn’t even have that planned. It was raining so she was really shivering and freezing.

I had to bring her up into the room and fortunately as a five star hotel-condo it was, there was a bath tub! I was hesitant to fill it up with water but of course the “favorite granny” told me to do so. Gladly, I abide. After a few minutes, I found me lying down in the tub with Yz. yahoo! It was everything I ever wished for when I was younger… I guess up until now.

I would want to stay longer in the bathroom, but being in with about 6 people sharing the bathroom, the only time I can spend longer there is when they’re all sleeping. The maids always complain that the bathroom is dirty… why not? They don’t know the word and meaning of maintenance. Just because there are maids in the house, the people should still know how to clean up after them. But we’re not boarders here. Actually, we’re adopted. And that I guess gave them the idea that there’s always someone to clean after them.. that includes the boyfriend.

The bathroom cabinets are not functional. Only, cockroaches and what other crawling insects are living there. I mean, I wish the hanging grills will be set up again so our toiletries can be properly placed. If only I have my own bathroom.. haha!

But that doesn’t diminish the fact that we are still blessed that there’s someone who’s willing to provide for us. It’s just that having your own place makes you comfortable in doing your job, else doing just nothing.
