I am so devastated! It is the extension of my life.. my partner in crime. I was so confident that Yzabella won’t harm it. But heck.. she’s just a kid. I mean, I have dropped my cellphone a couple of times, what more a hyper tot like her.
Anyway, it has been with us for 3 or 4 years. This Canon Ixus 800IS had survived many falls and squish. I brought it to the service centers twice already and I think the Mandaluyong center has better techs. When Mike and I brought the digicam to Makati branch, they just checked it out. I don’t think if they ever did anything because after retrieving it from Makati branch, it still not fixed that’s why I had to try out other branch which was in Mandaluyong and fortunately, they were more competent over there. I also brought the digicam of Mike’s Aunt to Mandaluyong and were able to fix it as well.
Mike was very reassuring. Instead of getting mad and all that, he was so calm and told me that maybe it’s the digicam’s time to go. It has served us well, anyway. I already have more than 10 thousand of pictures from the time we had it. He brought it from Hongkong during their Disneyland/Ocean World Trip. Yzabella was not yet born that time.
Maybe if I were more careful, it could have last a little longer. You can still view the pictures from but the lens is broken so it is really blurred. You can zoom it and make it clearer, but when you snap on it, you will hear beeps and then a message will pop up,
Lens Error. Restart camera.
It was really devastating. I cannot do anything. I am soooo sad. If I had no daughter, maybe I could have sulked the whole day. Walking made me feel better. I would want it repaired but the lens is the one that’s broken. It might cost me not less than a thousand peso to have it fixed. huhu.
At least boyfriend is so supportive and is giving me ideas on what new digicam to buy. Wow.. he even told me we will purchase the camera on Sunday. We are looking on Kimstore in multiply and she had many great sony, nikon, and Canon digicams there. Mike has been eyeing on a DSLR 450D or the 500D. So I thought I will just add some amount so he can buy it already. But I know he wouldn’t want me to carry it around that’s why he’s telling me to buy my own camera.
Yup, I don’t think I’d be able to handle the DSLR properly since I’m butterfingers. Besides I’m more at ease with a point and shoot camera. haha! Anyway, Mike said the Sony Sony DSC-T90 which is selling for P14,800 is a good buy and one Sony Service Center is accessible here in QC, just in case.
I want a pink or lavander or red. Oh.. oh.. but the blue is cute too!

my other camera something wrong can’t use. The shop is only open weekdays and far away so I buy a new one.
well, the old cam has serviced you good. it’s about time it retired. hehe. how are you doing with the DSLR? madami na natutunan?
I have Kodak camera but its something wrong, I have not take it fix as the sevice shop so far away. I think the cost of going and back will be too much. Plus I don’t know how much is the repair will be as I know I will need go back again for pay the checking if you do not want repair.
