The Car Connection

June has passed and I’ve reached my income goal. I was thinking of buying a new digicam to replace the broken one. I’ve forgotten about my other goal for June – to acquire a student driver license. The money was supposedly for my driving lessons which I set for June but many unexpected expenses came like Mike’s teeth extraction which set him back for more than $200, the amount just right for my driving lessons.

Why I wanted to take up lessons now because at the last quarter of the year, the Granny might buy a new car and sell her 95 Nissan Sentra. Mike would be willing to buy it for $1666 rather than buying a new car for me to practice with.

We were looking for other cars, SUVs, or pick up trucks. An old acquaintance had a ford f 150 and I fell in love with the extrerior. It was huge and looks so mighty sadly I wasn’t able to ride inside the truck. Tsk. He was generous enough to put it to good use. He lend it to me to “pick up” some food and other stuff for a party we’re handling.

I also like the Nissan Frontier because of its compact design. At the back you can put your luggages or even bikes… great for outdoor activities with family or some friends. My godmother had an older version and I thought the chair were uncomfortable. I later realized that it was designed for long trips. Can’t wait for a road trip!

The scion TC looks so elegant. If I see driving one, I would think that somebody inside is a professional or an executive.  I wonder how will I look like in that car driving it with my pajamas while sending Yz to her school. hehe.

For outing trip with my little nephews and nieces, the Nissan Rogue would accomodate them. The second row can be folded and a bed could fit inside. Could be used for small family like us – Yz, Daddy and me and we can just put our things at the back and more space to lay down if Yz gets tired.

Okay, too much daydreaming. I don’t know the technical differences yet, but I will soon learn about them. Can’t wait. Which one will we have?
