Can we Afford a House Yet?

Tuesday Jul 7, 2009

About a year ago, Mike decided on investing on a condominium. There was a good place in Pasig that he really wanted. We even toured the location and the not-yet-finished condos. But as the Granny visited the place, she had a lot of negative criticism regarding the surroundings that wouldn’t be suited for a growing child like Yz.

I don’t know if he can really afford the balloon payments for that condominium. I mean, he had money set aside for the initial payment, but what about the next coming months and years? What if he weren’t able to pay the mortgage loan?

Owning a house or a property for the long term should be well planned. I’ll be checking out the latest mortgage interest rate to keep me updated.

a house of your own, you have freedom to decorate it. But bear in mind expenses you need spend on maintenance and others.
