Kidz Republic

While Mike is having his tooth suture thingy, I brought Yz to a new playroom in SM Fairview. I saw it a week ago and right then when I saw it, I knew Yz will have fun in there. I brought Yz a pair of socks ’cause I know that’s one of the usual requirements when going inside a playground like that.

I also wanted to bring Yz to the inflated playground but it is small. There were no kids playing that time so she can have it all to herself. But the reason why I bring Yz to a playroom is for her to be able to learn to socialize. She doesn’t play with the girl kids much. She enjoys being with the “boys” to run around with.

I logged in for only thirty minutes just to check if Yz likes it there. Anyway, it would be just 60 Pesos for another thirty minutes. Just 10 peso difference if I chose the one hour play time. I thought the unlimited rate is a great deal, thinking that if you have a pre-teen to watch over your kid, they can both enjoy in the playroom all day, compared to Gymboree and Kevin’s which rates are 320 for 2 hours and 210 for an hour.

The whole time that were in the Kidz Republic, I was smiling. I guess the colors of the whole place is very cheerful. It has blue, green, yellow, orange.. like candies! Everything was very well covered with cushion, even the poles. The floor has rubber mats of green and blue. There were like big and slender punching bags, poles, mats, along the way like obstacles. The clearance on the second floor was I think about 4 feet because I need to bend a little lower (yea, only a little) just right for kids.

They also have a piano on the floor, where you jump on it to make it sound, like the ones in the movie Big (Tom Hanks), although sometimes the keys does not play in time. I think that’s one of Yz’s favorite too.

Going up and down will have different experience because of the variety of steps. Yz kind of stumble down on one of the steps, but like I told you, it’s cushioned, so no harm done. ^^

Only one twin slide yet I think it is one of the best slide for a little girl like Yz. You just glide there effortlessly. Wasn’t able to try it though. hehe. The ball pool has a big post up on one side where you can shoot the balls on the holes and when you do, the sides will light up. And oh, I forgot to take a picture of one of the part where you can play wars using soft balls and installed guns (how are they called anyway?)
