Let’s Play Pool

When I was 18 years old (and I wasn’t able to go to college coz I opted for a short course instead) I had all the time to go out with my classmates after class which by the way is only 3 hours in a day. Aside from hanging out in a diner, what we usually do is play billiards.

Boyfriend and I used to play pool in a buddy’s house. And 2 out of 5 games, I won. I don’t know if he was just making me win that time. LOL. Up until now, I still don’t know how to play the real game. I may be able to shoot the balls but that’s only because of pure luck.

One of my nephews loved watching a pool game on TV. That’s the time I understood that there are tricks how to make a certain shot, just like golf or basketball. It’s not just taking the shot. I guess I need to understand the mechanics of the game and how the pool cues differ and are used to take those shots.
