Although we’re only seven who made it in the SHE Blogger Event, I think it went well. No, actually it was great! I was really shy (which is very rare) to wait for them in McDonald’s where we planned on meeting. I thought of freshening up first so I went out to look for the restroom. But before I get there, Pehpot called me up and said they’re already there. I was nervous (wow, feeling perstaym) to show up but when I saw Peh, I was relieved and we’re like old time buddies.
Ate Liz, Ate Beng, Paula were already there aside from Peh of course.. (ay naku, peh, nakakarami ka na). Chitty-chat, chitty-chat.. what else would we do?.. When Niko and Ghie arrived (at long last) we headed to Kamay Kainan where all the craziness happened.
No, we didn’t danced on a pole nor sang our hearts out.. but we did laughed out loud and we didn’t even care. I realized that I know most of these girls from their blogs, that I have been in their blog already, that’s why I felt very comfortable talking to them.
I really can’t wait to meet Pehpot in person. We’re like chatting pretty much everyday, aside from visiting each other’s blogs. Niko and I just talked recently but I feel comfortable with her already, so that’s also the reason why I tagged myself into this eyeball. ^^
I just realized that I’ve been to Paula’s blog a couple of times already. I just can’t remember from where I hopped. It’s not from these other girls. Ate Beng and Ate Liz look familiar as well. I think I stepped into their blogs a few times and just admired some pictures and dropped ECs. Ghie reminds me of my niece who’s like a buddy to me. I know I’ve visited her blog as well, but I only remembered all of them when I saw their actual blogs. LOL.
How this started was really fun. Niko would just meet up with Ate Liz to pickup the digicam that Liz bought for her from US. Pehpot told me about this and I said, I want to tag along so I can meet them. Paula is Pehpot’s neighbor and they met in their kids’ school, but I think I knew Paula even before those two met. Niko, Ghie, and Ate Beng are colleagues. We’re like in a small networking.
I am always amazed how small the world is. We are all connected to each other in any way. And with these lovely ladies, our deepest connection is our blogs.
