Brighter Lights

reflectorsMy father has been texting me asking when he would stop by the house to fix the busted bulb that we use as a night light. Mike also wanted the main flourescent light be changed into something brighter. You know, he needs additional lighting since he is blind as a bat.

What my father suggested was the kind that you see mostly in malls or other establishments which has 2 flourescent bulbs. I think they are called reflectors. The ones father installed seemed blurry at first. I think these kinds of lights are used with many others or is better when it’s right under you.

Mike used to have a clip on light and a floor lamp like a house of troy lighting. But he said it glares on the LCD monitor that’s why he invested on the reflectors that father suggested. Now I’m getting used to the new lights. I really liked the feel of the lighting. It’s very nostalgic. The effect is like in our study room in my father’s house. These new sets of light made me read my books again. It was hard reading under a dimmed light, right?

Some lights like the ones in the living and dining room are more on aesthetics. Even so, forecast lighting makes the room brighter especially when they are complemented with pin lights. I had to turn everything when I’m reading in the living room. Too costly.
