Last week, we were bugged by consistent calls from a bank that’s tied up with a credit card company. They were looking for one of Mike’s Aunts and was demanding to talk to her. He was like getting all our contact numbers, even the maid’s cellphone number, just to be able to reach her.
The Aunt said that she already talked to that person and that she has no way of paying her debt. They could’ve at least have an agreement that if she at least were able to get a job, then she’d pay that debt little by little to fix credit.
This is one of the reasons why Mike don’t want to have a credit card. It is very hard to control yourself to spend and spend knowing that you can afford it on credit. Many people fall on that trap thinking that they can always pay for their debt because they have a job.
Another friend also had a problem regarding her debt. Fortunately, one of our buddies used to work in a credit card company. She can help her repair credit and that it’s always negotiable.
I never ever don’t wanna be blacklisted in banks just because of poor money handling. You know very well how poorly I manage my money. But fortunately, I don’t have big debts on big companies. I also cannot handle the stress of having to go through credit repair.
