Automatic driving

Sunday Jul 26, 2009

I’ve been planning on purchasing a car so I can bring my 2 year old daughter with me when I run errands. Unfortunately a brand new car is not within my budget so I am forced to acquire a used quality car. Fortunately for me a relative is selling her used 95 Nissan Sentra Series 3  car for a reasonable price.

After driving a stick shift for several weeks I found it cumbersome and tiring especially when driving through traffic, so my cousin suggested converting the transmission to an automatic. This will eliminate me stepping on the clutch and having to change gears every so often. So we started to canvas and see what are options were.

I started browsing through the net and stumbled upon a site which sells used transmission. They have everything from European to Japanese car transmissions. I also learned a lot through their live chat where I got to educate myself on what a car transmission really is and how important it is. They had all the information I need to educate a novice such as much self; they even have images of transmissions, FAQ’s and what not which really helped me a lot.

Now I have confidence looking for parts.

Nissan is a good choice, it last longer than Honda.
