Since her sisters don’t want to clean her stitches from her CS, I am the one cleaning it. The Aunt is able to walk around, up and down the stairs, compared to me after I gave birth since I don’t have tolerance for pain. Everytime I clean her wound, I slowly remove the tape from the gauze first, thinking that she might get hurt from it. The upper part of the cut is actually numb but on the lower part (the hairy one), that’s the time her feet react when I remove the sticky tape.
But she always comments that the pain would be nothing from having a tattoo. But the after pain from CS is a different story. I would always think if I would be able to handle continuous pricking on my skin since I can’t take a single pinch. People who gets tattooed really have high tolerance for pain.

When I watched a video of someone getting caesarian cut, I totally cried my heart out imagining the pain the woman is going through. Yet it made me realize that I really need to face that kind of pain and I had no choice.
Maybe if I would reconsider having a tattoo, I will look for other women in a tattoo chat who have the same anxiety as I have but were able to face it.

Ako din mababa tolerance ko sa pain. Injection nga takot nako eh. Pero I’m planning to get a tattoo. Sabi ng friends ko, hindi naman daw masakit eh. Hmmm.
