Are you looking for a work-at-home job? Are you a new stay-at-home mommy like me who wants to spend time with your baby while earning a few bucks? Can you go online even for a short time? Do you like writing? Are you a critic? Do you like reading other people’s ideas and opinions? Then these are perfect opportunities for you.

Ciao.com is a review site but much like a community site wherein you can write reviews and you get paid for it. Being a community site, you’re not only writing reviews, it’s required to participate in the site meaning being active by rating and commenting on other member’s reviews. But don’t worry, you also increase your earnings by rating and commenting other Ciao member’s reviews. Just be careful not to overdo it, since it’s against Ciao’s Terms of use to rate too fast on other’s reviews. For me, it’s not only helping a stay-at-home mommy like me earn money, but it also helps me to sharpen my writing skills (if I have any). ^^v

Reviewstream.com is focused on reviews. It’s a little bit tricky getting your review in because your review might be rejected for various reasons. Other than that, it’s a good review site since you can find there quality writings because before it gets published, your review gets reviewed first. (haha!) More about Reviewstream.com and Ciao.com can be found here.

You can still earn a few bucks even if you don’t have new reviews in Ciao, since when you are active and participating in the site, (rating and commenting) your balance grows bit by bit. And when other people rate your reviews, you can also get a few cents from them. The good side also  is that you can post your reviews in your weblog as long as you include in your article that the same article is published other than Ciao.com.

If you’re a busy stay-at-home mommy and don’t have much time to hang around in community sites like Ciao, then ReviewStream is for you. You can write about anything, from the shampoo that you use, your baby’s diaper, the movie that you’ve watched, your favorite celebrity, and the restaurant you’ve first dated with your special someone. In Ciao, you can only write about products that are listed in their Product list.

You can also earn a few bucks even offline from ReviewStream when people (members or non-members) vote on your review. You get 10 cents after they’ve read your article and voted. You don’t have to spend much time online in order to reach $50 (which is the minimum payout) since the voting rates are separate unlike in Ciao, your accounts are one.

Another community site is myLot.com. You can write about whatever… your personal experience, how you earn money online and offline, how you met your loved one, what kind of contraceptives you are using… anything! But then, if you want to earn money quick, you can’t get it from myLot, since they only give you a humble 1-2 cents per comment or discussion you’ve posted (which should contain like a hundred words). Still, many stay-at-home mommies hang around in myLot.com since it’s fun being in a community where you can earn and meet new friends from different countries at the same time. There are a lot of topics to choose from, you can even create a new interest where people can join and relate to you.

Of course, these money making gigs are not only for stay-at-home moms but also for people who want to earn money even online and offline. If you have more questions or suggestions, please contact me or leave a message. ^^v
