My Digicam is Gone Forever

It was hard to say goodbye to an old buddy who took our precious moments for the last 4 years. This is the second time that I brought it to Canon Service Center and this time, letting it go is the best choice. I don’t think it’s practical to have a 4 year old digicam be repaired for Php5000 when I can buy almost the same, if not, with better features for Php 12000. Anyway, boyfriend already have a DSLR.

A blogger friend bought a digicam for $92 from the States. It’s cheap when you first hear it. But I found out that the camera needs two double A batteries, so everytime you need to buy new set of batteries, otherwise, purchase rechargeable batteries of the same kind and spend again for chargers that cost about Php 3000 here.

So buying that Php 12000 would be the best choice since it already uses Lithium ion batteries. With the package also includes the charger for the said batteries. Some digicam also comes with an extra battery. Not to mention these kind of batteries goes a long long way.

I’m still thinking if I would buy a new digicam for me. Boyfriend wouldn’t let me bring the dslr with me, unless we’re together. Besides, I’m uneasy when I bring the big cam around. Someone might grab it from me or think that I’m rich or something.

Fedz, I’m pretty sure my comment is late but a good rechargeable AA battery from CDR king (white) is only 200/pair. A good charge is around 500 or buy those that comes with batteries for 700.
