Oh, wow! I can’t believe this blog had turned one. My first blog only lasted for 2 months, I think, and it was in Xanga. Nope, I will not give you the link to it. hehehe. It’s full of negativity and my usual blah blah.. I don’t want you to bore with my endless rantings.
I hope this blog served its purpose – be a source of information, earn me some moolah, gained me friends, and the most important thing, taught me lessons in life and about blogging. ^^
I really didn’t have the slightest idea that it will go this way. When boyfriend set up this blog, we were arguing what would it be. He wanted this to be a niche blog, a tech blog, that is. But I don’t know anything about technology, besides, it’s fedhz.com and it’s me. And I know I can only write best when it’s about me. LOL
I wanted to share my thoughts and experiences and that readers will learn something from it. I hope I really did help out. I wrote reviews of products I used, movies I’ve watched, places we’ve been to, and some money making gigs and how I earn from them.
Along the way, I’ve met great friends. Because of them, I’ve been addicted to blogging. Aside from our usual banters in yahoo messenger (Pehpot, Kaye, Niko), we still visit each other’s blogs, tweet, and meet personally. Recently, I have met new great bloggers. Too many to mention. Just wait for my reviews about them.
Because of blogging I’ve learned to be more sociable (from bloghopping), manage my time (organizing my daily tasks), and be financially responsible (managing my money).. Yeah, I was a big spender. LOL
Did I learn to set up a blog? No. Not really. I mean, not the way Mike wanted me to. You know, the boyfriend is a hardcore programmer, and the very reason why he wanted me to have my own blog is for me to learn to program… yes.. those html codes, those scripts that I only want to copy paste in my widget sidebar. I don’t think I will be able to understand those things. (sorry, huny..hehe)
But hey, I was able to make my own niche blog out of WordPress, with a super little help from him. He did the subdomain setup from the cpanel (whatever you call it).. and a science blog that I made from Blogger. Yey! The boyfriend hasn’t handled blogger before so it was all me.
Little by little I’m learning how advertising works. And checking my adsense, adbrite, nuffnang, adgitize, earnings is part of my daily blogging routine. It’s like every minute I have to refresh the page of my earnings reports. Yes, I’m obsessed with advertising.
Because of this, I would like to celebrate with all of you guys with a contest. Thank you for all the support. ^^
