One of the reasons why I wanna live in cold countries is that I could wear winter clothes. I love the look of fleece jackets, scarfs and women’s winter boots together. Since we’re living in a tropical country, wearing these types of clothes will make you look like a dumdum.
Friends and relatives from the States send apparels and shoes which of course are used for cold seasons. One time, a relative of a close friend sent a pair of red platform moccasin shoes. Although it’s bigger than my size, I immediately grabbed it and labeled it mine. I didn’t know where I can use those huge (bulky) boots.
They look relatively new and I only got to wear them when I worked in a video store where I wore a macarena (skirt on the outside but shorts like in the inside). I got lots of attention when I wore those pair of boots. I think I would only be able to wear them in a costume party or if I use buggy (elephant) pants.

I’m not really comfortable wearing them, but I love looking at celebrities or any ordinary person who wore boots with matching black coat, or tucking their pants under them, or wearing them with dress? Yes, they do that. And they look so gorgeous! (Well, for me.)
Oh, there are so many types to choose from. I used to think that boots are for boys, but commonly you can see boots types that men wear are the ones like men in big bikes wear, or the boots for rainy season. I was thinking of buying sneakers, and I’ve found one online which is like a sneaker and boots in one.

boots are fine and dandy. but you’re right, wearing boots in our country would make us look like…well, you get the idea. i think the only people who can get away with wearing boots and not be frowned upon are our local celebrities.
Gusto ko rin magboots dito kaya lang magmumukha akong ewan. Haha! I have two boots here na hindi ko pa nagagamit. Yeeep. Hindi bale, magagamit ko din sila!
i had one once, brown with heels and it’s not bulky so i get to wear it every now and then going to the office. i rarely wore it though, just when i feel like a girly girl. mostly i’m into rubber shoes lang o shinil (yun tawag namin sa tsinelas. nyoknyok) haha.

love the boots that the celebs are wearing in the photos. carry ko kaya suotin yan? which reminds me that i have to shop for my own pair for the winter season. i could do without boots in japan. di naman kasi ganun kalamig ang winter dun. but here in germany where it will definitely snow day and night during winter, a boots is a must! need to save up pa though. kaya dapat manalo ako sa pacontest mo mommmy para may pambili na ako ng boots! haha!
I am going for wedding dinner next month, I think of wearing boots. I need to think again as need match the clothes.
