Before I knew about blogging and that you are able to monetize it, I was focusing on studying another language – Japanese. I’ve learned how to speak the basic greetings like “Good Morning, Good Afternoon, Good Evening, Goodbye, I’m home, I’m leaving”, and other common greetings Japanese have. But I know it would take time for me to take them all in, aside from a translator friend who discouraged me from learning the language because of its difficulty.
Although I can read, write, and speak English, I still cannot translate articles directly into Tagalog (Filipino language). So whenever I talk, I still mismatch my words cuz most of the times I can’t express them in my own language. Sometimes I mix all 3 languages in one sentence. And because of Dora and Handy Manny, I speak a little Spanish (anyway, Tagalog words came from Spanish).
One of the reason why I want to study Japanese language is because of a translation available. If you know Japanese or Spanish well, you can get a lot of online translation jobs.. and yes, homebased jobs. I know quite well that companies pay well doing these job.
I guess I better go back to studying now, cuz I know there are many translators who offer free translation. How can I compete with that? hehehe.

I am actually a part time translator too ;P and find it also quite difficult to translate stuff in Tagalog. Mas comfortable din me enlish talaga.

I’m a part time translator as well *smug* (gaya2 kay Jade). Everyday ko nitatranslate yung mga sounds na lumalabas sa bibig ni Svet. Katulad kanina sabi nya fitsh. Yun pala gusto nya ng fish na ulam. Waw.

mahirap talga ang japanese language. you have to learn how to read their alphabet, which are in hiragana, katakana and kanji. and they have lots of rules too! i lived in japan for almost 2 years mommy and i only know the basics too. plus reading the katakana and hiragana. nakalimutan ko na nga ang iba e. and translating indeed pays big. i should get serious at studying it. dami ko study materials dito. halika, sabay tayo aral.
I work with a japanese school before but no learn japanese there as they promised me to give me learn.
it cost alot to learn other language they have got level package with different price.
I want to learn another language. My mom is filipino and she speaks tagalog, but she doesn’t want to help me learn. I guess I will have to find my own way.
