Sand Drawing

Tuesday Oct 13, 2009

You have to watch this, guys. This is the very first time that I’ve heard of Sand Drawing and I was really like…. huwaw! I want to watch some more, but this should break your heart first. I don’t know Ukraine’s history, but I think everyone has the same experience when it comes to war.

Kseniya Simonova is a Ukrainian artist who just won Ukraine’s version of “America’s Got Talent.” She uses a giant light box, dramatic music, imagination and “sand painting” skills to interpret Germany’s invasion and occupation of Ukraine during WWII.

ang galing naman nya! a very beautiful interpretation… ang alam ko na sand drawing is the one done on the ground for the japanese sand gardens which are very famous esp in Kyoto.
