When we had our first personal computer 2 decades ago (I was in Grade4), the only thing I know what to do with it was to play. The monitor was still black and white, but my father managed to buy a joystick for it, so my siblings and my cousins and I would play all night long. I don’t know what happened to that aged old PC.
The 2nd time my father bought a computer was when I was in 3rd year highschool. And yes, you guessed right. The only thing I know what to do was to play games (no not online games). I was ignorant about anything online that time. All we had was CDs of wares my brother’s friend lent us.
I also learned how to type without looking at the keyboard after getting bored of playing the usual stuff. It was like a game to me. And yeah, I don’t want to play with the Resident Evil the boyfriend lent me. Brr…
When I learned about the online world, I’ve learned how to play some online games like RPG’s and some which you’d need money (virtual or real one) to play these games. I didn’t have cash to spend so I had to quit playing and start earning real money.
And since Facebook has been popular now esp here in our country (after Friendster’s long reign), my batchmates has been bugging me to play Farmville or what not with them. You can see how addicted they are. There are also poker games which the Aunt here had been hooked to when she was pregnant. Maybe she even tried real games like slot machine rvm.
I haven’t been playing on the computer ever since time memorial. Haha! What an exaggeration. I think the last time I played was when the boyfriend had a phat Playstation and Yzabella was only 3months old then. Funny. Cuz I’m in the computer almost 20 hours of the day.
