When I visited my parent’s house last month and rummaged through my junk, I’ve found the puzzle book my cousin gave me on my 10th birthday. We’re very close and she knew me very well. We both love games like this.
I remember she would ask from neighbors for the section of newspapers with crossword puzzles and would spend the whole day answering them. She would always buy toys like rubix cube, board games like millionaires game, and of course, more puzzles.
And when we had a computer, I taught her how to play with some of the yahoo games the boyfriend installed for me. The next thing I know, she’s been gaining thousand and thousand of points from them and leaving me wondering how to get around the first level. ^^
Just a few days back, I was ranting that I didn’t have time to play anymore. One reason is maybe I miss her. This is one of our many bonding moments, one of which is our endless midnight chatters or watching movies.
She’s working in Dubai right now and be back next year. I can’t wait to tell her about some family-friendly brain games I’ve found online. I bet she’ll be so excited over the Sudoku, Crossword and Jigsaw, and me on the word games.
We will squeeze our brain juices out until we get dizzy and nauseated. hihi
