Christmas is a time for giving as they say. Christmas for me is like Thanksgiving day. I would like to share to you what I’m thankful for the things that happened this year 2009.
- Early December 2008 I have learned to monetize my blog. I received my first task from an advertising company and received the payment on January 2009. I earned from $10 – $200 in a span of 6 months through my blog, and compared to writing for other sites the past year which I only earned half of it.
- I met new friends online whom I spend my day chatting with nonstop, as if spamming each others’ blogs is not enough. We share everything from paypal money to other online opportunities. We’re like soulmates and that’s one of the best gift I’ve received this year.
- My parents and other Aunties get to visit Yzabella cuz last year they didn’t want to visit here. And that’s because my mom and I are in good terms already, same with my sister. We’re texting endlessly just like before and her kids are in good health.
- The Granny gave us 3 options where to stay: to buy her condo unit in Ortigas, buy the house where we’re currently residing or just stay here for free board and lodging (but of course we have to pay the bills).
- Early November I landed on a day job. Great opportunity for a stay at home Mom and what’s more, I like that job. ^^ I just wish it will continue next year.
- And the greatest thing that I am very thankful for is that we’re always together. My family. Mike, Yz and I. When most of my batchmates had to leave their families to work abroad. We’re very much blessed to have jobs at home.
There’s so much to be thankful for, but these would be the highlights of my year. I will post my new year’s resolution soon (if I’ve come up with one. lol)
