Should We Keep a Dog

Another thing we need to consider acquiring when we move in to my parents’ house is a dog. Mike cannot sleep without a dog guarding the house. He grew up with dogs. And he won’t be comfortable without them.

My father used to take care of dogs but got tired of the maintenance. Granny had 5 dogs but each slowly passed away. Right now, they only have 2 dogs on the garage, and one inside. Remember Spunky? Yes, our first baby in the house before Yzabella. She’s pampered with monthly grooming and she has her own food compared to the dogs outside which are only fed with leftovers. Oh, I think the Granny also buys them chicken neck bones.. something like that.

Yz brings Spunky outside to poop and pee. Yz knows when cuz the dog will look for her leash and would ran to the door. It’s Yz’s favorite chore playtime. I still don’t get why the granny hasn’t bought Spunky her own bed. The people in the house kept on prohibiting her to sit or lay down on the couch where she used to sleep when she was a baby pup. Aw.. too bad. Even I can’t stand beside Spunky now cuz she’s super duper hyper like Yz. hehe

I would want to buy her a rug doll but I always keep on forgetting. I know dogs like her want to play like a kitty. You will find Spunky playing with the door mat. Soon the rug will be ragged. hahaha.

See how expensive keeping a dog is, not to mention noisy. It’s easy to ignore Spunky and the other dogs here since we sleep on the third floor. But my parents’ house is bungalow and if we keep a dog in front and one at the back, for sure, both our neighbors and my dad would complain. Geez.
