I am Buraot

Sunday Jan 3, 2010

No, not me. (Although I could be buraot at times). Anyway, I’m talking about a blogger friend who wants to call himself Buraot. I dunno why he calls himself as one, but he is the complete opposite, I tell you. Buraot means (as I understand it) being a miser or anything negative you can think of a person. I think I first heard of this word when I was in highschool, and it was used to label a person who is very unfriendly in nature and yeah, nambuburaot (selfish).

I forgot how I came about the Buraot site, but I think it’s because of him sponsoring a blog contest of $50. Huwat? That generous? Yep. When I first landed on his site, I thought how gloomy it was to be there. The layout was in black and yellow, and it was hard to read the texts. But no, that didn’t stop me from reading the blog. I always leave the site with awe. Buraot is a great writer.

I am Buraot is one of the author’s many blogs and this one contains topics which ranges from sociopolitical, philosophy, religion, science, money, and about personal life. And since I can’t really relate on politics, I was only able to comment the very first time on his blog when he wrote about his daughter. It was very heartfelt and I love reading that article over and over.

I am Buraot

Since it’s New year, I am Buraot has its new layout as well. It still has the gloomy feel, but the texts are more readable. It increased its PageRank from PR3 to PR4. Hihi. I used to ask Kuya Buraot how I can earn more from Adsense and how to increase my PR as well. ^^

Buraot doesn’t need to promote to let people know that he exists. Readers just come in naturally. One of his projects helped many bloggers like me gain “popularity” through his Entredropper. Kuya Buraot has recently bought Buraot.com so don’t be surprised if the link redirects you there. ^^
