Yes, this is the first I pampered myself in a foot spa. I was bugging Mike ever since I had landed on a daily job to have a footspa. But since we got here we didn’t have the time to. I asked Marce Pehpot last month about where to go, and she said there’s one in Greenhills. But I couldn’t go that far so I had to suit myself with the salons available around here.
To my astonishment, there’s one in Shangri-La which offers a foot spa with pedicure which cost Php600, where I could have the a Footspa, Pedicure and Manicure for only Php300 in Facial First. So, I chose the latter. David’s Salon also offers foot spa for around Php280 excluding the pedicure which is like Php90.00 so you understand why I chose Facial First.
Anyway, next time I will try the expensive ones. I mean, I bet they’d be more “classy” considering the look of the couch they use almost cost the whole Php 600.00 just for sitting on it. And I bet they use more effective lotion and scrubs to make your feet nice to touch.
It’s not that I didn’t like the Facial First foot spa service. I’m glad that the manicurist is very OC. I mean, even her colleagues were complaining about her that she works slow well at least she did a great job cutting my nails to my desire. ^^ yeah, OC me.
My feet were soaked on a warm bubble peppermint solution on a massaging “foot spa” machine from Watson’s, while she does my fingernails. So I guess my feet were only soaked for only half an hour. After cutting my fingernails, she dried up one of my feet and scrubbed it while saying that I should have a footspa twice a month. (As if I could afford that).
She scrubbed the other foot and then poured lotion with scrubs, let it sit and then another lotion and then a foot paste before she did the pedicure. I had my toenails pimped with colorless nail paint. Huwaw. I felt so pretty. ^^
I cannot conclude yet as I don’t have any comparison when it comes to foot spa. But considering the price for manicure and pedicure which cost around Php 70 each, I think it was well worth it compared to my past experience with home service mani/pedicure.
