The pics on my right are collage of some people who sat on the chair as well. I don’t know the story behind this chair, but all I know this is made by the late Santi (Santiago) Bose. To my friends’ and my disappointment, I didn’t wear a LBD (little black dress). Maybe next time sissy. ^^

toinks. nakatira din po si Santi Bose sa bundok. isa po sya sa mga members ng Baguio Arts Guild. Yan po ung pinuntahan naming exhibit. ^^ more pics later.
Santi Bose was one of the best Filipino mixed media artists ever. It’s great that we can continue to enjoy his legacy. He passed away 7 or 8 years ago, but he is survived by his children who are also into the arts. Lilledeshan Bose, for instance, is a very accomplished writer.
Wow! you know Lille? kababata sya ni Mike. ^^
I think we were introduced a couple of times (lol) back when we were in UP (her and Mutya), but I didn’t really get to know about her writing until we graduated. I think I reviewed Una and Miguel for a newspaper or a magazine…

Hi there, I’m one of Santi’s daughters. Just to clarify, this chair was a mixed media piece by Kawayan de Guia, another Baguio artist influenced by Santiago Bose (who passed in ’02). It was created as a tribute to Santi’s memory and the photographs is part of the art. Interactive piece siya, kung baga (and now you’re part of it). Thanks for sharing!
