Safe Neighborhood

Being nocturnal people, we usually go out at night to buy food if we have extra time in our hands and if we don’t feel like having it delivered is justified. It’s one of our little luxuries in life, food tripping at night. Mike says he loves the security of the place, because everywhere we go, there are guards about, and the streets are well-lit even after midnight (must be the presence of call centers in the place, and the businesses that are open till dawn to accommodate the needs of the agents).

Compared to where we previously lived, me and Mike feel confident here when taking a walk to a nearby grocery or food store in the wee hours of the night. I personally like going out at night because it gives me time to refresh my mind. Several minutes away from my laptop means freedom from work pressure, even for a while. Never mind the blinding halo headlights from cars that we meet along the way numerous times during our nightly walks.

The crisp night air is more than enough to clear my head. And of course the knowledge that Mike is with us and Yz enjoys going out like we do. I wouldn’t trade this feeling of security for anything in the world, especially if it involves Yz.
