Great Outdoor Weekend

Tuesday Mar 23, 2010

It is very seldom that we go out and have a “family” day without the hurry and worry over a client waiting for us (yup, we work even Saturdays and Sundays). Add to the fact the convenience of our location to places we wanted to go to unlike before that we had to travel more than an hour just to reach a certain destination.

Yz loves water. I let her play with the water fountain although I know it’s kinda dirty. Woot! That’s how kids are. ^^ I bet it would be more exciting for her when she learned to shower under the rain. Woohooo! Fun fun!

This jumping platform was made by Ronald Achacoso (Color Pattern) and Reg Yuson on the sculpture. I thought at first it was only a decoration and that kids (and kids at heart) are not allowed to play on it. Hihi. But there you go! Yihii! I was there jumping and jumping too. It was kinda annoying not being able to feel the gravity. LOL

Bearable Lightness

The form and colorful pattern of this work suggest a state of perpetual lightness. Climbing the top of the platform results in sensations relating to tension between gravity and weightless, surface and depth.

I thought it is another decor in the park. There weren’t any kids when we passed by it in the afternoon. It was actually a wavy snake like communication metal where you can hear the other person at the other end. I forgot how you call it. It had a cool pattern as well. You cannot tell which one is connected to the other end cuz at the middle part, the metal was buried, so you really have to talk/shout and another person should check out where the sound would come out.

And of course, Yz loved the sand. Can’t wait to bring her to the beach. Oh, in case you’re wondering where this is, it’s actually at Bonifacio High Street, The Fort. ^^

It was really fun especially Mike said he did had a great time. It took my mind off some chores to do left at home. It revitalized me somehow and gave me the extra power to write about some reviews for casinos. Cute!

The Fort is not very accessible to me, I’m in QC and I don’t have a car. But I’ve always wanted to hangout at Serendra and Bonifacio High Street. Parang fun lang. I’ve only been there once, for lunch at Abe. I want to go back!
