I have always been Mike’s assistant professionally speaking. We’re branching out slowly and I’m proud to have 3 freelance writers at my beckon call, and a budding business with a new blogging friend. We wanted to have our own BPO company but for now we’re happy where we’re at and that we are progressing slowly but surely.
I receive freelance jobs from time to time and as soon as I get stable with my blogging gigs, I will be working on my odesk profile and maybe register also in elance. I had already installed skype but I’m still not familiar with it. My blogger friend who have several clients on Odesk told me that I should invest on a good headset cuz that’s how the buyers (aka clients) from odesk interview you and you also use that to take calls if you’re planning on getting a customer support job.
But I couldn’t make my headset work when my girls and I tried a conference call through YM and Skype. I guess that only works fine with one on one or that our headsets are just too lame or that we’re not that leet enough to make it work. Anyhow, if Mike and I wanted to move forward onto our business and look professional, maybe we’ll acquire a business voip especially since if I would want to be a virtual assistant. Career mode huh? Teehee.
