Last March 05 2010, the building had a schedule electricity maintenance. I wasn’t able to use the internet. I badly wanted to know the new hotline number of Chowking cuz I woke very hungry. I couldn’t go out to buy some cuz I don’t want to use the elevators, besides Yz was still sleeping and Mike wasn’t home that time.
So I called up KFC instead. Geez. Yeah, I was a poor soul. I didn’t even had a bread or canned goods in the cupboard that time, so even though it was my last money, I called up KFC hotline number 87-8888 and ordered the KFC Bucket Meal. They didn’t have the blueberry cheesecake anymore. Their current promo is a Spongebob Bucket, with 4 tumblers (Spongebob, Patrick, Squidward and Mr. Krabs on them) and a 500ml Pepsi, aside from the normal Bucket Meal which consists of:
- 8 regular/spicy chicken
- 4 rice
- 4 side dishes of your choice (corn kernel, coleslaw, macaroni salad, or mashed potato)
- 1 small and 1 big size gravy
The price? It cost me Php 698.50 having it delivered (10%) plus the additional gravy worth Php 15.00, so maybe if you’re gonna buy it directly from the store, the KFC Bucket meal will only cost you Php620.00.
