Yz voted too
Fortunately, we didn’t need to go through Batasan where we thought our Precinct would be. Our precinct was just there in the clubhouse in the subdivision where Mike used to live.
When we got there, we saw our friend/neighbor in a long line so I brought Yz and to play in the playground first but Mike called us up saying there’s no line in our designated precincts.
The first thing we did was look up for our names in the list double checking our Precinct number. The lady who was in charge of having our signature on our documents was kind of messed up. I mean her papers were. She could’ve arranged the docus in alphabetical order so she can find the names easily.
After that, we fell in line again to get a voting paper and a marker. After casting our votes (in the “ang bilog… bilog na hugis itlog“… damn can’t get that tune outta my head)… you’ll submit it to the personnel who’s in charge of the ballot machine (Precinct Count Optical Scan). And then for the thumbmarking and the indelible ink on the index finger.
That was it. I’m glad that the whole process just took us less than 30 minutes or so just like when I hoped for during the mock voting seminar. I was hoping to get a picture of the voting process and the place but Mike said it’s not allowed. Hmf. When we got home, I’ve heard that in the province particularly in Zamboanga, it took them forever to get their votes done. Hmm..

sa liit ng daliri ni yz, napuno ng ink. bwahaha
ako, 2 hrs naghintay sa precinct.. no lines nga pero.. pagdating namin dun binigyan kami ng number to wait for our turn.. which is after two hours.. meron naman designated waiting room -_-! eh before nung manual pa.. mabilis lang eh.. usually pagdating namin dun.. diretso vote na agad then alis.. pero at least mas mabilis na ung bilangan..
