Official Launch of MiCoach

Nuffnang invited us, Mike and I, to the official launch of the Adidas Micoach here in front of Runnr, Bonifacio High Street. There’d be also a treadmill running challenge that’s why Mike wanted to attend although he would be having another race the following morning.

We didn’t assume that it won’t start on time. It seemed we came in early. The production staff were still fixing up so we let Yz play around for the meantime. Before the main event started, they let one of the runners try the treadmill on top of the stage, which was a very very bad idea. It seemed that the platform would collapse any minute while the runners skipped and hopped.

While Mike was running, the host announced that the main programme will start in 5 minutes. There were passerby’s watching already, wondering what the gig is about. The host wonderfully explained why this dude is running on a treadmill on the stage.

Looking around I see some familiar faces. See? There’s TBR. Well, I don’t really know her personally (and she doesn’t know me either). Anyway, These 3 lovely gals are professional runners. I know, thanks to them, they didn’t join the running challenge. hihi.

What’s an event without food! We were invited to eat but as if everyone felt shy or not hungry. I decided to dig in when Mike finally finished his 10-minute running challenge.

Whaddaya know? Mike won 2nd prize (a MiCoach Zone worth Php 3000 plus), a second ahead of the third winner. Mike was disappointed cuz he knew he could’ve pushed himself more. And why wouldn’t he? The first prize was the MiCoach kit which costs roughly about Php 6000. phew! Anyway, Yz couldn’t be more happier seeing his Dad on stage as if she won Gold. lol
