It’s my daughter’s Great Great Lola’s (Grandmother) 90th birthday today. I can’t think of anything to give her but these.
I love crafts but I don’t have artistic skills. I just copy what I saw from everywhere… get ideas, and there! My favorite inspirations are my brother and my sister. They have these gifts of artistry that they somehow got from our parents. Unfortunately this gift didn’t rubbed off on me. Well, at least I’m trying. “Artists” are not born; they’re made. lol
I’m thinking of adding something more. But when I showed it to ‘hubby’, he exclaimed, WTF! lol. He’s not really into fancy things like these. He liked it simple. Why did I show it to him in the first place? I need more suggestion on how I can make this look prettier and childlike. Help me out, people… I really dig those glow in the dark paints!
I just hope the Great Great Lola will like this. If there’s a competition of giving the best gift to her, I bet I’ll be winning (not because of the ‘art’) but of the thought. hehehe!
The frames cost $2 each, the glow in the dark fabric paints $0.85. The digital pictures set me back around 1 dollar to be developed. All in all, this gift cost around $5. Not bad, don’t you think?
