I grew up in a not-so modern looking house of my parents, and it has always been a childhood dream to live in a house with a more modern look. I have always wanted a house that actually looked like a model house on the magazine and television.
Well, it’s not that I don’t like our old house, but I would definitely love to live in a more modern home. All the bittersweet memories of my childhood are from my parents house, I will not trade it for any other place. However, it won’t hurt if we give it a little “face lift”. We can start by upgrading our furniture into a more contemporary furniture to get that modern look.
In my own home sweet home, the condo unit that me, mike and Yz live in is actually a little step in attaining my childhood dream house. Although condo units have limited space, we need to know how to maximize the space and make it appear stylish and modern. I would love to have one of those platform beds, it is space saving yet very stylish. Since our family time are spent inside the bedroom, we might as well invest on a more modern bedroom furniture to make it more cozy.
