Mike promised to bring Yz out to Toy Kingdom today. I didn’t want to go, cuz I know it will be just another blog post to write about. haha! And I was right! After visiting the Toy Kingdom at Mega B Department Store and some Toy Kingdom Express along the way, he headed to the biggest (is the biggest?) Toy Kingdom branch in Mega A.
From afar, we can see that there’s something goin’ on in front of Toy Kingdom, some kind of show I bet. Here it was:
They are Yoyo Masters of SuperYoyo showing some tricks from basic to Super Level. I met each of them and they’re all cool. The “master” of them is Sir Edmund San Antonio, and his minions Reymark Zavalla and Paul Murillo. They do have day jobs and “schooling” every weekdays, and then on weekends, you’ll see them in malls showing off their skills. Neat, huh?
If you wanna learn some tricks like Brain Twister, Moon Sault, Stop and Dash, Home Run, Loop the Loop 30x, UFO, Tokyo Tower, Dogbite, Three Leaf Clover, then you just have to look for these guys. Of course they can teach the very basics to the difficult levels. You can find them around SM malls every weekends and they’re gonna have a competition this month (was it this month?) at Rockwell, Makati.
The Super Yoyos range from Php 149 to Php1000, depends on your needs I guess. The more expensive means more tricks you can do. It’s all in the bearing. </me winks>
