I didn’t go through the hassle of traveling an hour just to have my injectables. Besides, I think the nurse who gave me the shot last May is not there in Friendly Care, Mandaluyong anymore. So, I went there with fingers crossed.

Oh, my gush. And it was totally a relief. The nurse, Belle, injected it on the upper part where I usually had it (some centimeters below waist line) and I was like, “is that it?” It isn’t painful like the first shots, I dunno if my body’s getting used to it, or that she has the hands of an angel, or they gave me the wrong meds. I really didn’t feel any heaviness on my butt.
I was able to walk up the stairs effortlessly unlike my 6th DMPA shot when I had to climb up one step at a time. Phew!
