Referral revenue tip

Friday Sep 26, 2008

One of the most common ways to make money online is by referring other people to certain programs. This method often provides you the referrer a unique URL (Uniform Resource Locator a.k.a. link) to use for referring.

A way to attract potential downlines is to mask your referral link. This works in 2 ways:

  1. Peaks the curiosity of people who look at the links before clicking
  2. Prevents other ‘people-in-the-know‘ bypassing your user id and going directly to the site.

So what exactly is masking your link? It’s basically replacing the actual link with something else. A site called TinyURL offers this service for free. You can visit their site if you want to use their service and if you want to know more.

so this is the main thing that tweeter use? basically it is like a cover up tha hides your location but when people click on it, they are redirected to your link. nice and very useful too specially in preventing spammers reaching your link..

there are sites that will make your url shorter, pero monetize din sya everytime somebody clicks your link. ganyan din ba ang tinyurl?
