In the Philippines, majority of its people own at least one cell phone; because of this it has become the “texting capital” of the world. Having your own cell phone is definitely a good idea; however problem starts to set in when the reception is bad in your house. It is something that every mobile phone owner has to deal with. There are various causes of bad reception in your cell phone such as:
- Low cell phone battery is one of the common causes of bad signal reception. More often than not, your phone battery has enough power left to try to make a call but not sufficient to find a strong signal.
- Expect to get bad reception if you are inside a building or in a place surrounded by tall buildings. The line of sight will cause trouble in acquiring a good phone reception.
- It could be that your home or your current location is too far from the cell tower. If this is the cause, you can use cell phone repeater or cell booster to enhance the bad reception. There are some areas which are not really great for cell phones because of the poor signal.
- Your phone may also have a weak antenna and that could be the cause of signal problems. You may want to have your phone antenna replaced in order to resolve this concern.
If you experience bad cell phone signal reception frequently despite the fact that you do not have problems with your phone battery and antenna and you are in a location wherein everyone else were able to use their mobile phones except you. Maybe it is about time that you buy your new mobile phone.
