Reminiscent of the classic TV show, the Swiss Family Robinson, the 2008 remake of the Jules Verne classic, Journey to the center of the Earth is a good watch for the young and old alike. The effects were an upgraded version of the old cinematic effects of the 1980s which added to the nostalgic feel of the film.
