We deeply care about this classic guitar so when we heard it banged on the floor because of Yz, Mike and I hurried to the room and shouted at her out of surprise and worry (about the guitar? you bet). This guitar came from Mike’s late grandfather (Granny’s brother) whom he treated just like his own dad so this guitar had become one of our greatest treasures.
We used to hang it by the door in Granny’s house. But since we can’t bore holes here in the condo (the walls are hollow), we decided to buy the guitar stand instead. We also bought new guitar strings. Mike really wanted the Yamaha nylon strings, but they’re out of stock in the malls.

We love music and playing the guitar is one of my hobbies. I know I’m not getting any good no matter how many times I practice playing but being able to play my favorite songs is enough for me for now. Maybe someday, if time and money permit it I would acquire some guitar lessons for beginners.

Yzabella also shows some interests on musical instruments. I hope I can be able to teach her someday. Or maybe she’ll be the one to take the lessons and teach me instead. I’m a slow learner (see, I can’t even tie the guitar strings right). hihi. Oh, geez… I promised her I’ll be buying a small guitar for her on her 3rd birthday. I hope I can find a cute pink one. ^^

Well, it doesn’t really cost that much. Actually, you can buy each of the Big Headz Toy for Php 999.00. But we have to spend Php 12,500.00 worth of grocery items to get this Big Headz Tiger for free. For every Php 250.00 receipt, you get 1 sticker or stamp as they call it. The stuffed toys are of good quality actually. But I don’t think I can spend that much for a stuffed toy for now. hehehe
Promo is until March 25, 2010. More information here:
Rustan's Big Headz Promo Mechanics
I thought we won’t be able to reach the 50 stamps before the 25th, so Mike and I excitedly bought some non-perishable items and stacked food. Mike’s friend gave us 5 stamps and so before March ended, we were able to acquire the Big Headz Tiger. And woow! I still have 13 stamps here. Maybe we’ll just avail the Php 299 if we can’t reach 50 stamps on the 25th.
Yz with Big Headz Tiger
Oh by the way, this promo is provided by Rustan’s Supermarket (Edsa Shangrila) ^^ This is actually one of the things I’ve been looking forward to when I first saw this when we transferred here last January. Take me home for FREE, it says. Yay! I hope we can get another big headz, better yet, acquire all 6 of them! (Tiger, Giraffe, Monkey, Elephant, Lion, Zebra). Yes, I’m still a kid at heart. I still have my age old stuffed animals in my parents house actually.

Another thing, I wanna thank the shopper who gave me a stamp. I dunno, I guess she just felt I had better use for it. hihi. Thank you so much! I hope some shopper would be willing to give me more. Hmm, great idea. Yz and I will hang out by the counter and ask beg each of the shoppers to give us one stamp. LOL

I heard the background sound of some fight echoing from my back on Mike’s TV. When I turned around I saw some UFC Octagon Girls waving and smiling. I thought Mike was watching a replay of Joshua Clottey and Manny Pacquiao boxing match.
I guess Mike is more interested with Mixed Martial Arts than Boxing. Why, he is always updated about the most recent fights and anticipates every episode of UFC. He even watches his favorite MMA analyst “doliveij” on Youtube religiously. Not that he’s not enthusiastic about boxing. I know there’s one animé that he likes which is about boxing. Anyway, I saw him browsing over the net checking out who won on the Pacman/Clottey fight.
I don’t understand the hype for these matches. Maybe it’s just me not wanting to get hurt because of my low pain threshold and although it is considered a game or sports I would rather not be a part of it.

Transferring here from Quezon City to Mandaluyong took us 4 days cuz we only used Granny’s car in moving our stuff. One by one we brought them in here. The other 2 days were of Yz’ stuff. On the last moving day, the Granny decided to hire movers for her tables and cabinets and had some of our huge stuff included. Mike’s mom accompanied the movers from the old house to the condo. I think that’s much better than driving rental trucks and worrying about who will carry your junk stuff.

Just the other day I had my parents come over again to pick up our garbage junk old stuff. Mike said we keep on bringing in stuff so we better pull out some. I don’t want to throw away Yz’ toys cuz most of the them were bought by me. LOL. They weren’t too many but I had my parents ride a taxi cab going home. Surprisingly, I still have goods here to discard. Geez.

Isn’t Yz’ sporty blue pair so cute? I bought this pair for only Php80.00 from my old neighbor/friend in Quezon City. She sells second hand and brand new stuff (All from US) from baby/toddler clothes, bags, dresses, tees and tops, shoes and sandals, cellphones, and Mary Kay Products.
Speaking of Mary Kay, she’s looking for people who wants a free facial. Just let me know so we can schedule.

I’m saying goodbye to my White Samsung Corby Pro B5310. So far, this has been my most expensive cellphone which I only used for a week. If you’re willing to buy it please let me know.
What I like about the Samsung Corby is that it has a qwerty keypad and it is touch screen. Mike’s last touch screen phone was the Samsung Omnia. (Yeah, we’re fans of Samsung screens from monitors to mobile phones). The text font is very readable even you’re under the sun.

I’m not really particular about the Facebook, Myspace and Youtube applications installed in it. But I think that’s one of its selling features especially that you can access your IM’s instantly. I love the games though. You can download the games, look them up in the internet, use the usb adaptor and voila!
Some great features of the Samsung Corby Pro B5310
- 320×240 TFT resistive touch screen with 16M colors
- qwerty keyboard
- connectivity:
- Wifi b/g
- 3G
- Bluetooth
- GPS
- built in email and IM client
- 3.5mm headphone jack
- clear fonts (for people with poor eyesight)
One downside of the white qwerty keypad is that you cannot see the letters when it’s bright. It glows a white/blue light and it’s better to look at it in the dark. That’s the reason why Mike gave me this white Corby and bought a red one instead.
Package includes the phone with screen protector, 2 additional back covers, usb adaptor, headset, user manual. And I might also include the 2gb Kingston micro SD memory card. I bought it in Samsung Trinoma for Php11,650.00
