Homesteading by definition is living a self-sustaining lifestyle as possible as you can. This is actual common for people who live on farms. There is no need to learn all these things at one, choose the best one that appeal to you or the most suitable in your current living situation. What matters is that you took the first step to being self-sufficient and you are working towards it.
